Anne Carpenter Dutton

Anne Carpenter Dutton,83, passed away June 8, 2020. She was born July 23, 1936 to Pearla and Syrell Carpenter and raised in Plano. She married the love of her life, Lendon Dutton, in 1959. Anne taught English until she and Lendon started their family, and then she devoted herself to being a mother to her three children. Anne and Lendon moved to Jacksboro in 1973 and resided there until the time of her death. She was also an adoring and adored Mimi to four grandchildren.

Anne was an artist. She loved and excelled at many different mediums. She painted gorgeous watercolors, oil paintings, and abstract mixed media pictures. She sculpted clay, designed and cast silver jewelry, and made fused glass. She was an avid fan of theater and enjoyed supporting the arts.

She is survived by her husband Lendon Dutton, her son Jeff Dutton and his wife Melissa Dutton and their children Lendon and Ali, her daughter, D’Anne KinCannon, her daughter Lenda Davidson, and her husband Corey Davidson and their children Justin and Ande.

Due to Covid-19, in lieu of services, the family has chosen to have a virtual celebration of life.
