Aldie Marie "Shug" McAnear was born was born October 21, 1931 to Rupert E. and Jeffie (Cannon) Graves. "Shug", as she was known by many, worked many years as both Bookkeeper and Secretary and was a member of the First Baptist Church and Ladies Auxillary of the VFW. She loved her God, her family and the Texas Rangers. Shug passed away October 19, 2019 in Jacksboro at the of 88 years old.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Jeffie Cannon and Father, Rupert E. Graves and brothers, Pete Graves and Mike Groves.

She is survived today by her 2 children, Carla Barrett and Wayne McAnear; 2 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, all of which are from Jacksboro, Texas. 

A memorial service was held 10:00 am Monday, October 28, 2019 at Christian Missions Church.
