New JMS Principal

The new principal of Jacksboro Middle School will be Jackie Hamilton. Hamilton is currently serving as an Assistant Principal at Stephenville High School. Before becoming an administrator, she taught high school English Language Arts and Reading at Glen Rose, Granbury, South Grand Prairie, and Poolville. Hamilton graduated from Millsap High School in 2001. She earned both a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University. Summer Ag Extension Camps begin with photography

It wouldn’t be summer in Jacksboro without summer camps sponsored by the Texas A&M Extension Service of Jack County. The first camp for the summer was held last week with photography and arts and crafts. Camps will go on weekly throughout the summer and include sewing, cooking and others.
