Xmas parade set for Dec. 1

Entries for the Jacksboro Christmas Parade are being accepted in preparation for the Thursday, Dec. 1 event.

The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. with a visit from Santa to close out the event. Details are still being finalized, but some entry rules for floats have been released.

Maximum height is 15 feet with no live Santa on entries. Entries should arrive for lineup by 6 p.m. on Oakwood Avenue by the VFW. Entries must stay on the designated route.

Entry forms must be returned by noon Thursday, Dec. 1 to City Hall, faxed to 567-2590 or emailed to ljackson@cityofjacksboro. com.
