High school students within the Region 9 area will have the opportunity to visit with representatives from universities and colleges at a college fair next week in Wichita Falls.
The fair will be hosted from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22 at the Region 9 Education Service Center located at 301 Loop 11 in Wichita Falls. All freshmen through senior students are encouraged to attend with their parents or guardians.
“(The) college fair is a valuable opportunity for students and families to explore options, ask questions and plan for the future,” said Lacy Murphey, College and Career Counseling Specialist at Region 9 ESC. “We encourage all students to take advantage of the wealth of information and resources available in one place.”
Universities and colleges from Texas, Oklahoma and other states will be in attendance along with military branches and community organizations such as Texas Workforce Commission and the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation.
Registration is not required to attend the event, but students may preregister at falltacrao.swoogo.com/registration2025. Registration can be completed by clicking the fair under Fort Worth and 2025 Region 9 College Fair.

Region 9 ESC provides consulting services to North Texas area school districts to improve student performance and local school operations.
Districts included in the area are located in the counties of Archer, Baylor, Clay, Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Knox, Montague, Throckmorton, Wichita, Wilbarger and Young.
