Election day voting was held Tuesday in Jack County and across the state for the primary runoff.
Early voting was held from May 18-22 at the Jack County Courthouse. Election day voting was held Tuesday, May 26.
The Republican runoff ballot included a runoff for U.S. Senator between incumbent John Cornyn and Ken Paxton, Attorney General between Mayes Middleton and Chip Roy, Railroad Commissioner between Bo French and Jim Wright and Court of Criminal Appeals Place 3 between Alison Fox and Thomas Smith.
On the Democratic ballot was a runoff for Lieutenant Governor between Vikki Goodwin and Marcos Isaias Velez and Attorney General between Nathan Johnson and Joe Jaworski.
A total of 978 of 5822 registered voters in Jack County, or 16.8%, voted in the runoff election.
