JISD BTS event tomorrow

Jacksboro ISD parents can register for the 2022-2023 school year during Back to School Enrollment Fair from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4 at Jacksboro High School.

Enrollment for all three schools can be done at the same time. Free or reduced price lunch forms must be completed at registration along with all necessary registration forms as well.

At Jacksboro Elementary School, a Meet the Teacher event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11. Pre-kindergarten teachers will be contacting students for an appointment to meet their teacher over the next few days. Homeroom teachers will be contacting students beginning Aug. 8.

Jacksboro Middle School students can pick up their schedules at the enrollment. Chromebooks will be issued to each student on the first day of school Wednesday, Aug. 17. The campus will be open for tours if needed.

High school students can pick up both schedules and Chromebooks at enrollment. Students can pick up parking stickers as well for $10. Students will need their driver’s license, proof of insurance and their license plate number.

Freshmen students are also invited to come to Fish Camp from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11 in the Auxiliary Gym. The high school computer lab and translators will be available during enrollment.
