Jacksboro aldermen approved both the 20232024 fiscal year budget and tax rate during their Monday, Aug. 28 meeting.
The tax rate of $0.695901 per $100 of valuation is a 43 cent, or 38.2%, drop from last year’s rate of $1.126186.
