Texas Department of State Health Services will hold a free back-to-school immunization clinic Thursday, Aug. 21 at Live Oak Baptist Church, located at 1014 Wichita Avenue in Jacksboro. Students entering kindergarten, seventh grade or college this fall could be due for vaccines before school starts this fall.

The clinic is open by appointment only. There is no charge for immunizations for children or adults.

The DSHS provides immunizations at no charge to children and adults with no insurance, children who are under-insured, children with Medicaid, as well as the American Indian and Native Alaskan population.
