County schools begin enrollment

Jacksboro ISD is beginning enrollment for new students today.

New student enrollment for Jacksboro Elementary School, Jacksboro Middle School, and Jacksboro High School will be held from 9 a.m. to Noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, at each respective campus.

After July 27, parents and guardians can call the campus office to schedule an enrollment appointment. For JES, 940-567-7206; for JMS, 940-567-7205; and for JHS, 940-567-7204.

All new students to JISD must provide a copy of their Social Security Card, birth certificate, shot records, proof of residency within the Jacksboro ISD district.

Bryson ISD will host new student enrollment Monday, Aug. 1 through Friday, Aug. 5. For more information, contact BISD at 940- 392-3281.

Perrin-Whitt High School students will be able to register for courses Tuesday, Aug. 2 at the school.

Seniors can register from noon to 1 p.m., juniors from 1 to 2 p.m., sophomores from 2 to 3 p.m., and freshmen from 3 to 4 p.m. Students are asked for arrive only during their scheduled time.
