Several volunteers in Jack County have started the 2022 Candy Cane project.

The project provides Christmas for school age children during this holiday season. All applications are available at the school campuses for Jacksboro and Bryson ISD, and Perrin- Whitt CISD.

Applications should be returned as soon as possible. No applications will be accepted after Friday, Dec. 9. Applications must be returned to the school offices.

All applications will be screened and approved based on economic status and/or on an as-needed basis.

Angels will be available at the JISD Administration office or can be distributed by text, email, or messenger. Contact Christy Thomas for a child. The maximum amount to spend on each child is $65 and the gifts are due back by Tuesday, Dec. 13.

Gifts may be dropped off at the JISD Administration Office, Jacksboro Elementary School, or contact Christy Thomas at 940567-7203 ext. 264 and arrangements can be made to pick up packages.

Any donations to this project will be greatly appreciated.

An account has been set up at Jacksboro National Bank and Prosperity Bank. Any gifts donated to this project do not need to be wrapped.
