Jacksboro ISD will continue to serve meals to children through July as part of the district’s summer feeding program.
The program is open through Monday, July 6 at the Jacksboro High School cafeteria located at 1400 N Main Street in Jacksboro.
Meals are served Monday through Friday and provided at no cost to children and teens 18 years old and younger.
Breakfast is served from 8-9:30 a.m. and lunch is served from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Texas Department of Agriculture says more than 1 in 5 children struggle with hunger, and when the school year ends they can lose access to consistent, nutritious meals.
The Summer Food Service Program from the United States Department of Agriculture provides meals and snacks during the summer at no cost at schools, parks and other neighborhood locations, helping children gain access to food for an active, healthy lifestyle.
