Roy Carter Swan, age 69, passed away Friday, April 19, in Jacksboro. He was born March 14, 1955, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Charles Ray and Edwina (Butler) Swan.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Jacksboro.

Roy married Carla McAnear on Oct. 26, 2019, in Jacksboro. He was also a retired professional truck driver. Roy will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include hiswife,CarlaSwan; son, Kyle Swan, and wife Stephanie; sister, Beverly Wiggins, and husband Mike; and granddaughter, Ali Swan; along with many extended family and friends.
