F.M. "Doc" Wigington, 93, passed away Saturday, Jan. 30,2021 in Jacksboro, Texas.

Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4 at Bethel Assembly of God Church. Burial followed in Lynn Creek Cemetery.

Doc was born Dec. 4, 1927 in Bridgeport to William Floyd and Lula Mae (Shields) Wigington. He married the Late Peggy Stout March 13, 1948 in Jacksboro. He owned and operated Doc's Tank Trucks in Jacksboro; was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church and served on the Lynn Creek Cemetery Board.

Doc was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mildred Elaine " Peggy" Stout Wigington; ex-wife Louise (Lou) Brown Leffingwell Wigington; son, Jim Wigington ; brothers, Steve Wigington and Carl Wigington.

He is survived today by his son, Ronnie Wigington and wife Darlene; daughter, Tina Bailey and husband Mike; grandchildren, Daron, Melanie, Carolyn, Kirby, Christina, Bobby, Joshua, Timothy, Seth, Susie, and Pamela; six step daughters; 31 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
