NHS induction ceremony sees changes from COVID

Because of the COVID virus last Spring, the annual JHS National Honor Society was not held.

To make sure those inducted still had a nice memento of the occasion, the induction was moved to earlier this month. Twenty-seven juniors and seniors were indicted into the organization, which does a number of service projects for the school.

Those inducted are: seniors Rylan Chalmers, Niahmya DeSantiago. Jaci Gann, Randall Hamilton, Diana Jimenez, Alisa Marrufo, Makenna McAnear, Aracely Ochoa, Dylan Thomas, Destany Valles, Tayte Ward.

Juniors sworn in were: Celestea Valos, Traci Berend, Andru Botello, Johanna Esqueda, Cody Frie, Lilliana Gonzalez, Isbella Grisham, Jenna Herd, Colton Kaker, Elisabeth Mosley, Brynn Pardue, Chandler Perry, Isbel Rangel, Yahir Salas, Kobe Thomas, Savannah Thompson.
