Donations sought for Cookies for Soldiers

Jacksboro third graders are gearing up to do some baking and to send out some holiday cheer to soldiers serving overseas.

The Jacksboro Elementary third grade will make the cookies Thursday and could use some help from the community to send them.

The school is raising money to help pay for the shipping costs to send the packages. To donate to the project, there is a donation box located in the elementary office or you can give a donation to any third grade teacher. 

You can also choose to adopt a box by donating $12.65 to send that one particular package.

If you know anyone serving overseas and would like a package of cookies, cards, and candy sent, please send their name and address to howardtl@jacksboroisd.net.
