After two weeks of practice, with two-adays beginning Monday, Aug. 1, Jacksboro’s high school football teams hit the road for Muenster this Friday, Aug. 12 evening for their first of two scrimmages.

The Tiger freshmen and JV will get things started at 5 p.m. at Hornet Stadium. Varsity will then follow at approximately 6:15 p.m.

The Tigers will then return home for another scrimmage beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18 against Iowa Park.

The Tigers’ varsity team will officially begin their season with their first game kicking off at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26 against the Buckaroos at Breckenridge.

The team will then spend two weeks at home, with their Friday, Sept. 2 game against Boyd, and their Friday, Sept. 9 game against Peaster. Both also kick off at 7 p.m.
