Perrin sweeps past Bryson

Perrin’s varsity volleyball team got itself into some holes against visiting Bryson but the Lady Pirates held tough Tuesday, Oct. 8 and picked up the win in the district opener for both teams 25-16, 25-23, 26-24.

Perrin Coach Rebekah Bland said she liked her squad’s fight when behind, which is what she thought got the Lady Pirates through.

“They don’t quit. I’ll say that much,” Bland said. “Our inconsistencies are going longer than I would prefer but it was a good match. I thought we played well overall.”
