Tigerettes fall to Tolar Tuesday

While games are a tremendous way to improve skills, sometimes some good old practice is just what the doctor ordered.

The Tigerette defense is somewhat lacking in the eyes of Coach John Bennett. Five errors Tuesday night in a 7-5 loss to visiting Tolar magnified the issue.

Tolar got off on the right foot with a first-inning run and was never headed.

The Lady Rattlers used a pair of Tigerette miscues to spark a three-run third inning. Jacksboro (6-2) held its own, getting two of the runs back in the bottom of the inning.

With one gone, Leah Plaster doubled. Lexi Little beat out an infield single and a pair of Tolar errors brought home Plaster.

With two gone, Hadlee Richardson beat out an infield single and advanced to second. A wild pitch brought home Little but Richardson was left holding the bag after a groundout ended the frame.
