Tigerettes fall, 12-6

BOWIE – Any night you have more errors than runs, it’s going to be tough to win.

Jacksboro let a potent 14-hit offensive attack go to waste Friday afternoon with seven errors allowing the hostesses to take an early lead it never relinquished in a 12-6 Tigerette loss here. Jacksboro saw its four-game win streak snapped to go to 4-2 in District 8-3A and 12-8 overall while Bowie is 3-3 and 6-13.

The Lady Rabbits strung together four hits and used three Jacksboro miscues to take a 7-0 lead after one. The Tigerettes would get singles by Trinity Tisdale and Leah Plaster in the first two innings but leave the pair stranded at second. The visitors opened a three-run third with singles by Lexi Little and Hadlee Richardson.
