Bryson routs St. Jo
BRYSON – With the playoff road still in question, Bryson made another push toward qualifying for the postseason Oct. 21 with a 68-12 win over St. Jo at Cowboy Field.
Bryson is now 7-2 and 2-1 in district play.
The hosts jumped out to a 30-6 lead after one quarter and blew things open in the second. The game was called at the half by the 45-point rule. Briles was the way his squad continues to get out to a strong start.
“I thought our offense came out swinging again and like it has all year we’ve been productive,” Briles commented. “As long as we don’t stop ourselves (ball security) we will continue to put up points, but the two games we put the ball on the ground were in the two biggest games we played and it cost us.”
