Bryson routs Moran in home opener
BRYSON – After two weeks on the road, the Cowboys opened the home portion of their schedule with a 64-7 win over Moran Sept. 15.
Bryson, now No.4 in Class A, goes to 2-1 with the victory.
The Cowboys took a 28-7 lead after one and extended it to the final score when the game was called on mercy rule at halftime. Bryson put up 343 yards of offense. Quarterback Braden Houser was 9-13 for 220 yards in the air with seven TDs.
Paul Davidson led the receiving corps with four catches for 71 yards, all for TDs. Ethan Robinson had three grabs for 123 yards and a score. Paxton Whitaker and Tristan Stephens each had scoring grabs of 17 and nine yards, respectively.
On the ground, Bryson ran for 123 yards on just nine totes. Nick Stubblefield had 45 yards on three carries. Robinson had three for 17 steps. Houser added two carries for 21 yards with Davidson adding a 40-yard scoring run.
