Bryson pitches shutout in opener
HICO – Bryson got out to a quick start Saturday as part of the Six-Man Super Saturday, scoring 21 first quarter points and cruised to a 45-0 win over Walnut Springs.
The game was called in the third quarter by mercy rule.
Bryson rolled up 320 yards of offense while holding Walnut Springs to just 93 yards.
Cowboys Coach Jason Briles said his charges were ready to hit someone else and it showed.
