Bryson boys, girls hoop fall to Strawn

BRYSON –  Doing everything right ... and still falling short can be a frustrating thing.

Bryson’s boys' basketball squad had had problems with getting off to a good start, rebounding and defense during the early part of the season. Still searching for the elusive first win, the Cowboys put everything together at home vs. Strawn Tuesday night and still fell just short in a 49-41 setback.

Bryson drops to 0-3 with Strawn upping its ledger to 1-3. Cowboys mentor Joe Rackley said he thought his team played well overall.
