Bryson BB falls to Avalon

SPRINGTOWN – Any time you have more errors than hits, it’s a pretty ominous sign it won’t be a good day.

Bryson was in that boat Friday night after its game one of its best of three area round playoff series with Avalon. Bryson had just three hits but four errors in the game. The Eagles had just four hits themselves but took advantage of the Cowboy errors in a 6-0 win.

Saturday, the Eagles finished the job, again taking advantage of Bryson miscues to post a 17-2 victory and knocking the Cowboys out of the Class A postseason. After game one, Bryson Coach Brent Tuel said games like Friday’s are why he opted to play a series.
