Reminiscing an old frend

From a pretty good high to a screaming low in the matter of a few hours.

Coming home from a 12-hour day July 7, I was beat but felt pretty good after watching a group of Jacksboro softballers avenge a tough loss in Bridgeport with an even bigger win which ended their summer league season with an unbeaten 8-0 record.

Congrats to the girls on their accomplishments and hoping for continued improvement.

I get home and find out four members of Dallas’ law enforcement community were senselessly killed doing their job and trying to keep others safe during a protest against officer shootings. I stayed up for a bit to get caught up and went to bed.

For further details, see the July 22 Herald-Gazette.
