JISD sets registration schedule

New student enrollment for Jacksboro Elementary, Jacksboro Middle School and Jacksboro High School will be held from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at each campus for students who did not attend school in Jacksboro ISD during the 2017-2018 school year.

All new students to JISD must provide a copy of their Social Security Card, birth certificate, shot records and proof of residency within Jacksboro ISD.

After Aug. 1, parents should call the campus office to schedule a new student enrollment appointment.

Jacksboro Middle School students incoming 8th graders will register from 9-11 a.m. and 7th graders from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2. Sixth graders will register from 9-11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6.

Jacksboro High School seniors, juniors and sophomores will register from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7.

All incoming freshmen and their parents are invited to a freshmen orientation at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6. in the main gym. Schedules will be distributed following the orientation.

Chromebooks will be distributed to JHS students on the day of registration if all online registration forms are completed in Skyward Family Access. Online registration will open July 27, 2018. Contact the high school office if you need assistance.

Students planning to park on campus will need to purchase a parking permit. Permits will be sold for $10. To purchase a parking permit, students will need their drivers license, vehicle license plate number, proof of insurance and signed consent for random drug testing on file

Drug testing consent forms are available in the High School office.
