Jacksboro VB schedule released

While still nearly two months away, Fall sports schedules are hitting the streets.

Volleyball practice begins Monday, July 30 with new coach Tennessee Arey replacing Rosana Barbosa at the helm of the Tigerettes. The squads will scrimmage Poolville Aug. 4 at home.

Jacksboro will hit the road for the Aug. 7 season opener, playing at former district foe City View vs. both the host team and Munday. The girls will remain on the road for the next two weeks, playing in the Cool in Boomtown Tournament (Aug. 10-11), Archer City (Aug. 14) and the Lu Allen Tournament in Graham (Aug. 17-18).

The Tigerettes’ home opener will be Aug. 21 vs. WF Notre Dame before the Purple girls hit the road for another two-week road swing with dual matches with Burkburnett (Aug. 24), FW Southwest (Aug. 28), Poolville (Aug. 31), and Graham (Sept. 4) along with a tournament at Nocona (Aug.30 and Sept. 1).
