Bryson boys lose pair

BRYSON – The Cowboys opened district play Jan. 12 with a 67-31 loss to host Graford.

Graford took control early, jumping out to a 21-0 lead after one and extending the lead to 32-4 at the half. Bryson got its offense going in the third, scoring 14 points but allowing Graford 18. In the fourth Bryson tossed in 13 points and held Graford to 17.

Braeden Houser tossed in 10 points to pace Bryson and had six rebounds. Paxton Whitaker had seven points with Xander Tinney adding six, Tristan Stephens four with Jon Alaniz and Dillon Orr two each to round out the Cowboy scoring.

Tuesday night, the road trip continued as Bryson played at Throckmorton.
