Francis Clayton went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 27 ,2017 in Olney, Texas. 

She entered this world March 24, 1926 in Jack County, Texas. She was the daughter of Lark and Zell (Weaver) Gunter. Francis was a Restaurant Manager and member of First Baptist Church of Jacksboro,Texas. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Tina; her sister, Joann; great-grandsons, Bentley and J.J..

Francis is survived today by her children, Greg Clayton and Peggy Clayton; brothers, RC Gunter and wife Wanda; George Gunter; sister, Christine King; and her grandchildren, Brandi Mischelle; Brandon; Stormy; Jordan; Doc; Sandra; Tony and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Shea; Sierra; T.J.; Hannah; Hunter; Dalton and Benna.

Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 1 at First Baptist Church with burial following in Los Creek Cemetery.
