Thu, 10/12/2017 - 12:17 pm

GORMAN – After a 2-2 start, much of it vs. state-ranked teams, Bryson has turned the corner in recent weeks and won its second straight game Oct. 6 with a 60-26 win over the hosts.

Bryson is now 4-2 for the season and was able to avenge a tough loss to Gorman from a year ago. The Cowboys put up 440 yards of offense in the contest.

Bryson led 16-6 after one with each team scoring a touchdown and conversion in the second for a 24-14 Cowboy lead at the half. Bryson scored 20 third quarter and 16 fourth quarter points while holding Gorman to a single score in each frame.

Quarterback Braden Houser was 16-23 for 277 yards and three scores passing. Ethan Robinson had six receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown to lead Bryson.
