Bonnie Lee Turner Dodson

Bonnie Lee Turner Dodson, 96, of Mineral Wells Texas Nursing and Rehab passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017. She was born June 5, 1921 in Jack County, Texas. 

Bonnie was the daughter of the late Harvie and Eugenia (Gill) Turner and the wife of the late Linwood Dodson.

Bonnie worked in the Almond Sheds in California during World War II, the Box Factory, and MepCo-Electra in Mineral Wells, Texas and Mitchell RV Park in Perrin, Texas. Bonnie was a life long member of the Sparks Springs Second Advent Christian Church. She was a loving mother and a wonderful Christian.

Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Arvel, Ides, and R. B. Turner; sisters Irlene, Oleta, and Eugenia.

Her survivors today include daughter Elaine Minton and husband Jim of Perrin, daughter June Richards and Mark Goldstrom of Omaha, Nebraska, son E. L. Dodson and wife Delma of Jacksboro, son Eddie Dodson and wife Pamela of Perrin; grandchildren Clint Henderson, Delaina Henderson and Rink Davis, Craig Richards and wife Brenda, Pamela Karasek and husband Dave, Chad Dodson and wife Jody, Cody Dodson and Kayla McAnear, Rebecca Berend and husband Quentin, Emily McKinney and husband Jake, Melissa Zamzow and husband Randy, James Minton, Matt Minton and wife Gina; great-grandchildren Cameron, Haley, Kaci, Lyla, Chloe, Caeli, Taylor, Will, Brynlee, Braxton, Brystol, Brazos, Gage, Lyndee, Joyana, Abby, Heaven, Leah, Katlynn; great-great-grandchildren Kortnie, Kendon; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Spark Springs Second Advent Church (address to be posted later) with burial following at Perrin Memorial Gardens.
