Winnie Katherine Parker passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Decatur, Texas. She was 100 years old.

She was born on March 1, 1917 in Jack County, Texas to James Harry and Lizzie (Burt) Henderson.

Winnie was the oldest of 10 Henderson children, of course that meant she learned how to sew, cook, clean, and take care of her younger siblings. She became a great cook and she loved having family around. When she lived at Possum Kingdom Lake, many grandchildren would go stay with her to fish and camp out. Winnie was a member of Bible Baptist Church, a homemaker, and most importantly a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to so many.

Winnie is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a grandson, and she was the last remaining Henderson child of 10; four Kaltrider siblings and one Moody sibling.

Among those who will cherish her memory include her children Floyd Jeffrey and wife Linda, Sonja McCubbins, and Jenett Taylor; grandchildren Teresa, Diana, Debbie, Michael, Direnda, Cindy, Lisa, and Dawn; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren, and extended family members.

There will be a visitation from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, June 30 at Coker Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 30 at Coker Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksboro with burial following in Graves Cemetery.

If so desired, memorials may be given to Graves Cemetery Association.
