Sales tax payments show mixed results in county
Sales tax allocations made to cities within Jack County were up in November but the overall numbers continue to be down for the entire year. The checks issued by the Texas Comptroller’s office were based on sales made in September by businesses that report tax monthly and on sales made in July, August and September by quarterly filers.
