Court approves change in pay scale
Jack County commissioners approved a change in the parttime pay rate and full time pay schedule for non-elected employees. County Judge Keith Umphress said department heads can set the part-time pay rate.
Work continues on Precinct 2 barn
Work continues on the new Jack county precinct 2 barn with expectations to have it open sometime this winter. Precinct 2 commissioner Kenny Salazar said work began on the structure, being constructed at 377 W.

County, Repsol come to road use agreement
Jack County officials and officials from the Pennington Solar Project have come to a road use agreement during construction of the facility. County Judge Keith Umphress said the agreement between the county and Repsol, which is in charge of the project, has been discussed over the last two to three months.
