County discusses district courtroom painting work

Talk on work in the district courtroom continued during the county commissioners meeting on Monday, March 10. County Judge Keith Umphress and 271st District Court Judge Brock Smith spoke Friday, March 7 with Smith letting Umphress know he was concerned no action had been taken on getting the ceiling painted or what the powdery substance falling from the ceiling is.

Community Man

It was a dream of the late Kenny Salazar to touch the lives of those around him, and he achieved that through services, devotion and with a smile and laughter. Aside from serving as the Jack County Precinct 2 Commissioner, Salazar was a community and family man who cared for his children and grandchildren, as well as other members of the community.
