Perrin-Whitt CISD officials are wanting community input on why the recent bond issue was defeated and what it can do better if a future bond is called. The survey, which has been posted on Perrin’s Facebook and Parent Square websites, will be up for approximately two weeks.
Heavy rains last month caused flooding on the northwest side of the Jack county courthouse. It did just that, using a beautiful day weatherwise in El Reno, Oklahoma, to take top honors at the National Land and Range Judging contest Friday, May 2.
For the third time in the last four years, Perrin’s FFA Cotton Judging CDE team won the State Cotton Classing Career Development Events (CDEs) judging title in Lubbock. The competition took place Saturday, May 3.
A water conservation plan is in the process of being modified by the city of Jacksboro. During the Monday, April 28 city council meeting, Tina Henson with Garver Engineering told the council it was time to update their water conservation and drought contingency plan.
