Tuesday is the last day to register to vote

The last day to register to vote in the Nov. 8 general election is Tuesday, Oct. 11. To register to vote, complete a Texas Voter Registration application and submit it to the county voter registrar.

Voter registration cards may be mailed or dropped off in person. To drop off, take to the Jack County Voter Registrar/Tax Assessor Collector’s office in Room 209 in the courthouse by 5 p.m. Tuesday. If mailed, a voter registration must be postmarked by Oct. 11.

The registrar’s office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If a voter has moved and has not voted or updated their voter registration, they will need to do so.
