SUV struck semi-truck on North Main

The SUV invovled in the Friday morning accident on North Main is loaded onto the wrecker as the semi-tractor trailer it struck waits in the turning lane. There were no injuries in the wreck.

A wreck occurred in the 300 block of North Main Street Friday morning.

Around 8:30 a.m., a Hyundai Sorrento was pulling out of the Allsups parking lot to head north on Main Street when it collided with a semi-tractor trailer hauling a large propeller traveling north in the turning lane.

Jacksboro Police Officer Michelle Roof said the SUV struck a tire on the trailer bounced off and spun around in the road.

Traffic was limited to two lanes while officials and the wrecker cleared the scene.

No injuries were reported.
