Sponsors needed for JISD Teacher Brunch

After a successful first time, Jacksboro Chamber of Commerce is looking for sponsors for its 2nd Annual Teacher Appreciation Brunch.

The event is Friday, Aug. 14 at the Jacksboro High School Cafeteria.The Chamber would like to thank and honor JISD faculty and staff with an appreciation brunch in the days before the 2020-21 school year is to commence but needs some sponsorship help to make that happen.

“Last year the Chamber with the help of our Members put on a Back to School Appreciation Brunch for our JISD Faculty and teachers to show our educators just how much we appreciate and value them and the work they are doing to prepare the young minds of our future leaders,” Chamber Executive Director Valerie Monk said. “We want to shower them that morning with great food, awards and gifts to start their year off right.”

Sponsorships range from $100 for an event donation up to a Superintendent Sponsor of $1,000, the latter of which are already sold out. Teacher Tote Special Sponsors are also already sold out. Sponsorships still remaining are teacher sponsors for $250 and Principal sponsors for $500.

Other ways to donate are with door prizes or with a booth setup at the brunch to promote your business for just a $10 fee. Monk also said that door prize donations are also being sought.
