A number of teenagers have been arrested in connection with a robbery and a burglary of convenience stores in Bryson and Graham April 29-30.

JCSO Lt. Criminal Investigation Michael Francis said a call of a burglary at Cowboys April 28 at 10:43 p.m. was received. Deputies came to the scene and noticed forced entry, using a nearby CO2 tank, and noticed several cigars on the west side of the building. A trail of merchandise led deputies to an abandoned building where a 17-year-old white male, Colten Morosky was found.

He spoke to deputies, denying any involvement of the burglary and any knowledge and then to Francis in his vehicle and admitted after the interview he had three accomplices in the burglary. All the stolen goods, which amounted to cigars, a lottery ticket, a lighter, a vape pen and $1193 in cash, was recovered, Francis said.

Francis said he went back to another Bryson convenience store, Smith Corner, on the 30th to see if they had any video. The clerk there said that two young men with identical black masks to the ones in the Cowboys’ burglary, came into the store just before closing and had gotten behind the counter to try and get a money bag. The clerk saw the two and approached them but the pair had run off.

Upon notifying Young county officials that Morosky had two accomplices, it was determined that an armed robbery had happened in Graham at 2:39 a.m. the same day at the Allsups on Elm Street where the clerk said he had just been robbed.

Graham PD arrested Desmond DeJuan Sanders, 19, of Wichita Falls, Michael Anthony Sirianni, Jr., 18, of Graham, Erick Eduardo Sanchez, 18, of Graham, Tristin Anthony Cromer, 18, of Graham and Alexander Lara, 17, of Graham.

According to a Graham PD press release, officers took approximately 12 burglary of a motor vehicle reports during the day shift. After investigation, most of the reported stolen property from the vehicle burglaries was in the suspect’s vehicles during the initial inventory the morning before.

Investigation by the JCSO, Texas Rangers, Graham PD have determined the events are connected.

All five suspects in the Graham robbery have been charged with engaging in organized criminal activity – aggravated robbery, a first degree felony.

Additional charges are pending on the suspects. Francis said the communication between agencies on these cases led to a quick wrapup for everyone.
