Local students compete in livestock judging, food show

Jack County students competed in livestock judging and a food show earlier this month.

Livestock judging

Juniors

The team of Ellys Behling, Brody Hawkins, Bryce Thorne, and Canyon Cansler finished second. Behling picked up a pair of first place titles in first place individual and reasons. Kelton Behling competed as an individual.

Intermediates

First place team went to Braydee Thorne, Macy Hawkins, Jaylee Holmes and Dalton Birdwell. Birdwell was second in reasons with Hawkins finishing right behind in third. Competing as individuals were Kenadee Langham and Danzer Behling.

Senior

Competing as an individual was Brooke Bennett.

Food Show

The district food show was held Nov. 7.

Juniors

Avery McCurry competed in appetizer. Kenadee Sell won the healthy dessert competition. Hannah Collier was second in sides with Riley Hollis third in main dishes.

Intermediates

Rayann Conner won side dishes with Rayleigh Flaniken second in main dishes and Patton Fry fifth in appetizer. Sera Fry competed in heathy desserts but did not place.

Senior

Kaylee Flaniken was fourth in main dishes.
