JHS band members see success at state

The Jacksboro High School Brass Ensemble competed at last week’s UIL Band State Competition and scored a 1st division rating, the highest possible.

The Brass Ensemble is made up of Jacob Hull, Filo Ponce, Macon Shoun, Skye Justus, Hoyt Nebgen and Alex McDaniel.

The Saxophone Ensemble consisting of Juliana Berry, Anna Hume, Maya Lewis and Jacob Wykes scored a 2nd division rating.
