Fort Richardson Days continue tomorrow

Fort Richardson State Park kicked off Fort Richardson Days with more than 1,000 area students visiting the fort Friday. 

Historical re-enactors demonstrated cannon firing, cooking, games, weaving, livestock keeping and more late 1800s-style.

Fort Richardson Days will continue Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park. The event is free and open to the general public although park entry fees do apply.
