County names private road

The Jack County commissioners approved renaming a road for 911 purposes during their meeting Monday, Feb. 24.

County Judge Keith Umphress said the Hitch Rack Ranch, which is east of Jacksboro on U.S. 380  has recently had some construction on it. Cory Jackson, son of owner Jerry Jackson, has built a home on the ranch property with the home’s site off the main highway.
