Changing of the guard

Charlotte Haston led a new group of officers, sworn in by incoming Lions District Governor Carolyn Stroud, as part of Wednesday, June 9’s regular Jacksboro Lions Club meeting.

Haston replaces Mike Mitchell. Kim Veselka and Lance McWhorter will be vice presidents, with Donna Cassle and Tim Cassle keeping their spots as secretary and treasurer, respectively. Christine Cabanillas Castle will be membership chair, Joe Mitchell will be lion tamer, Will Aston will be greeter, Alton Haston and Mike Mitchell will be tail twister, with Lynda Pack, Melissa Rowland and Chris McBride serving as directors. Melanie Belcher will serve as Leo sponsor, with Erin Jonas serving as club sweetheart.
