Census Bureau implements no-contact packet delivery

The Denton County Area Census Office, which covers the Jack County area, has received clearance to reopen. The United States Census Bureau began to send letters to residents across the country in March and as of June 3, 55.2% of Jacksboro and 41.9% of Jack County households had responded.

The bureau suspended their operations for two weeks in April in order to protect workers and the community, but is now implementing a phased reopening approach for their offices and operations.
