BISD trustee candidates weigh in on issues

Bryson ISD will host an election May 7 for a contested seat on its board. Incumbent Frank Hefner has been opposed by Latasha Valliant for Place 1. Place 2 incumbent Laurie Kelley is running unopposed. Following are the candidates’ answers to questions concerning the district and the role of school board trustees.
