271st District Court pleas, dismissals and indictments

The 271st District Court issued the following indictments, dismissals and pleas for Jack County for the months of July, August and September

Pleas 

July

Dale Everett Norris pleaded to theft of more than $1,500 but less than $20,000 and received a sentence of 1 day in the Jack County Jail

Bobbie Gene Ramzy Jr. pleaded to deadly conduct, discharge of a firearm and received 6 years deferred adjudication.

August

September

Christopher Lee Vega pleaded guilty to deadly conduct, discharge of a firearm and received 7 years incarceration with the Texas Department of Corrections. A charge of aggravated assault and an additional deadly conduct, discharge of a firearm charge were waived.

Hinrich Espinoza-Ruelas pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated with a minor child and received 180 days in the county jail probated for 2 years.

Sonia D’Ann Newsome pleaded guilty to tampering with a governmental record and received 3 years of deferred adjudication.

Dismissals

July

The charge of assault of a family or house member by impeding breathing and/or circulation against Christopher Derek Cannon was dismissed

An unspecified charge against Bobbie Gene Ramzy Jr. was dismissed as the defendant was convicted in another case.

Leslie James Guest was indicted for engaging in organized criminal activity.

Diana Gayle Gardner was indicted for the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram.

Mackenzie Dewayne Guthrie was indicted for the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram.

Matthew Wayne Moore was indicted for the charge of evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.

Jody Dean Newell was indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Sonia D’Ann Newsome was indicted for tampering with a governmental record.

Jeffrey Bryan Rhone was indicted for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Ernestina Vasquez was indicted for abandoning or endangering a child.

JC Wayne Clark was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram.

Dillon Cole Driver was indicted for the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram.

Clarence Henry Faubion was indicted for the charge of possession of a controlled substance 1-4 grams.

Jared Calvin Grubbs was indicted for possession of a controlled substance.

Dalton Tyler Ray Lewis was indicted for burglary of a building.

Bill Monroe McGarity, Jr. was indicted for the charge possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram and theft less than $1,500 with two or more previous convictions.

Rickey Lynn Mathews was indicted for driving while intoxicated, third or more.

Maria Jesusita Montalvo was indicted for the charge of having a prohibited substance in a correctional facility (alcohol, drugs, phone or tobacco).
