Bryson ISD meets
BRYSON – Bryson ISD board members are stating their case against a new legislature mandated rating system for public schools.
Superintendent David Stout said the state approved the ratings, which rate schools with grades A-F, in 2015. Preliminary ratings using last year’s data are expected out this Spring.
Stout said the state has informed districts that 10 percent of districts will be given an ‘A’ grade with 10 percent given an ‘F’, which Stout says is not a solid rating system.
